CONFERENCES / WORKSHOPS:
The Research and Publications department organizes workshops and conferences on topical areas.
Workshop(s) in preparation:
Currently, the department is organising a two (2) days workshop on “Business Wide Risk Management” to be held on 23rd and
24th April, 2007. The workshop will be run jointly by CASCEF and Leeds University Business School, UK.
Expected Workshops:
This year the department is expecting to organize two more workshops as follows:

Workshop on Credit Risk Management in Banks and Other Financial Institutions. This will cover the range of key areas
in credit risk including credit risk measurement, analysis and management. Is expected to take place in July 2007.
Venue, dates and specific topics will be announced later.

Workshop on SME Financing Options in Tanzania. The workshop will focus on wide issues related to identifying,
analyzing and assessing different means of financing SMEs activities in Tanzania. It is expected to take place in September
