CONSULTANCY ACTIVITIES:

The Institute of Finance Management is both a training Institute as well as a leading institution in consultancies, The consultancy activities are conducted through the department of Executive Development and Consultancy (EDC) under the Centre for Advanced Studies in Corporate Governance, Enterprenureship and Finance (CASCEF). 

Examples of consultancies that have bee in this regard a number of consultancy works have been done such as:
(i) Designing and delivering of in-house generic management training for PCB staff. (Client: The prevention Of Corruption Bureau)
(ii) Designing and delivering of generic training of trainers, for Prevention of Corruption Bureau team of in-house trainers. (Client: Prevention of Corruption Bureau)
(iii) Designing and delivering of short term training programmes for staff of Mbeya Cement Company on Strategic Human Resouce Management systems
(iv) Designing and delivering of training of finance for non Financial Managers for District Education Officers. (Client: Ministry of Education)
(v) Designing and delivering of marketing and Supplier/Customer relationship for Executive agencies.

In addition, IFM conducted tailor made courses for Executive Agencies’ accounting staff. The courses were aimed at refreshing Executive Agencies’ accounting staff on the commercial based accounting system; the system replaced the vote system.
