The Centre for Advanced Studies in Corporate Governance, Entrepreneurship and Finance
(CASCEF) at the Institute of Finance Management intends to create an environment where
academics and practitioners alike could come together to produce research and insight of
the highest order.
The Centre explores policy driven issues and highlights the linkages
between academia and practice. In this regard the Centre acts as a liaison between the
Institute of Finance Management and the business community. Specifically the Centre
represents true unification of research and practice on the Institute’s key areas of
competence.
Staying close to IFM’s roots, the Centre adopts a rigorous academic approach and
methodology towards its research, which can be provided on a dedicated, or sponsorship
basis. The Centre also undertakes ad hoc research from non – sponsor organizations.
As part of its activities the Centre also organises fee based academic workshops and
conferences to disseminate research findings as well as to discuss topical/current issues
related to the Institute’s main focal areas. In so doing the Centre expands further IFM’s
capability to publish and disseminate high profile research to the public.
