ADVERTISEMENT ACADEMIC CERTIFICATES FOR 2018

The public is here by notified that the first batch of academic certificates for 2016/2017 and 2017/2018 graduates of The Institute of Finance Management are ready for collection.  The certificates can be collected from the Student Records and Statistics Department room D005, Block D {IFM Main Campus} and Mwanza Teaching Centre every weekday from 02.00 to 04.00pm except holidays. The announcement for second batch of academic certificates will be posted on Friday 10th May 2019.  The announcement for third and last batch of academic certificates will be posted on Friday 17th May 2019.

REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTIFICATE COLLECTION

  1.  IFM student’s identity card,
  2. Copy of academic transcript for the programme which a certificate is sought.

IN THE CASE OF LOSS OF IFM IDENTITY CARD, THE STUDENT MUST PRODUCE A POLICE LOSS REPORT AS WELL AS OTHER RELEVANT AND ADEQUATE IDENTIFICATION E.G. NEW DRIVER’S LICENCE, VOTER’S IDENTIFICATION CARD, OR PASSPORT. ISSUED BY THE OFFICE OF REGISTRAR 06TH MAY 2019.

The Institute of Finance Management (IFM) in collaboration with university of Groningen in Netherland conducted Public Lecture on Integrating Strategic Portfolio Management and Enterprise Risk Management on 24th April 2019 at Golden Jubilee Tower Dar es Salaam.

Presenter of the lecture was Prof. Dr. Jim Emanuelson who focuses in areas of advising and supporting boards and managers strategy, new business planning, risk management, and digital transformation.  The event was chaired by Prof. Isaya Jairo Rector of the Institute of Tax Administration.

The Institute of Finance Management conducted two events in Dodoma on 17th April 2019 at Pius Msekwa Hall at the Parliament of Tanzania; those events were Public Lecture on Futures of Food Provision-Developing Global Agrifood Value Chain and launching of Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance (BEF). The Guest of Honour was Hon. Job Ndugai (MP) speaker of the National Assembly.

Presenter of the Public Lecture was Prof. Dr.   Jan Willem Velthuizen from University of Groninghen   In Netherlands and it was chaired by lord mayor of Dodoma City Council Hon. David Mwamfupe.
