The Institute of Finance Management (IFM), in collaboration with the Bank of Tanzania (BoT), ran a full-day, 10-day certified financial educators programme. This Friday, 13^th September 2024, the IFM Management and representatives from the BoT witnessed the Graduation of The Certified Financial Educator (CFE). This is the 1^st IFM Intake CFE Graduation in collaboration with the Bank of Tanzania. Graduands included IFM teaching members, members from the finance industry, and other educators (who required certification).

"The knowledge you have acquired should be put into practice to ensure you become conversant." Prof Josephat Lotto, the IFM Rector, stated this during the CFE graduation ceremony. "One needs to be certified as of now to be able to teach and expand financial inclusion", chimed in Mr Kennedy Komba, Director – Financial Deepening and Inclusion, BoT. The training is one means of embarking on a national collaborative approach between the public and private sectors that expands outreach to unserved and underserved communities in the country. The second batch from IFM is expected to run from 23^rd September to 18^th October 2024.
